Question by weirdredhead92: If someone files stachatory rape how do they prove they had sex with the partner?

For example. if someone happend to be 16 and they had sex with their 15 year old partner, and then files stachatory rape charges, how would they prove that the 16 year old had sex with her. Is there a certain time period in which you can prove it and if the charges are filed after that they cannot?

Statutory rape generally refers to consensual sex between an adult and a minor under the age to consent to sexual conduct. In your scenario there would be no offense.
